How to Type/Use Indian Rupee Symbol ₹ in MS Word Excel
The new symbol for the Indian Rupee was released on ₹ 15, 2010 and the Unicode Technical Committee accepted it as the Indian Rupee symbol on 1 August 2010, but if you still New Rupee of Indian Rupee is not able to use ₹ in Windows or in Word and Excel.
How to Type/Use Indian Rupee Symbol ₹ in MS Word Excel
First of all you download the update of microsoft, it supports the new currency symbol of the Indian Rupee. After downloading the update, install it in the computer and restart the computer.
Now open the Control Panel and click on Clock, Language, and Region, click on Change keyboards or other input methods here.
Go to the Keyboards and Languages tab here and click on the Change keyboard, here you will see the button of Add, click on it, now you will see all the Input languages, here select English (India) and click OK
Now open MS Word and use the keyboard shortcut given below.
- Ctrl + Alt + ₹
- Ctrl + Alt + 4
- Alt 8377
- 20B9 = Alt +x
